ABOUT

Built on a Bridge.

Who I Am

C. Marie Flessa, MPH - founder of Bridgid Advisory, public health practitioner, and someone who's spent 10+ years in pharmaceutical and biotech research operations.

My background spans EDC system design, clinical operations, regulatory documentation, and team development across global Phase I–III trials and multiple therapeutic areas. I've worked at Clario (ERT), Kayentis, and as a consultant to sponsors across oncology and other indications.

What matters more: I've learned that good data infrastructure isn't a luxury or a back-office concern. It's the connective tissue of reliable science. And when organizations treat it that way - when they invest upstream in architecture, strategy, and team capability - everything else gets easier.

Education

  • Master of Public Health (MPH), Boston University

  • Graduate training in Epidemiology & Biostatistics

Honorable Mention: Special Project

Client-Facing Vendor Roles as CDM

Novel Wearable Data Quality Framework

Global eCOA CDM

Managed eCOA across 10+ concurrent global Phase I-III trials spanning multiple therapeutic areas. Recipient of ERT Excellence Award in recognition of client delivery and cross-functional leadership.

Lead Capacity Demonstrated

EDC & Data Governance

Directed the design and build of a novel wearable data QC governance framework - five deliverable categories delivered in under six months with no existing vendor precedent. The result: a replicable framework that can be used across programs.

Led EDC and eCOA platform implementations and associated data governance for global Sponsors across oncology and additional indications, from build config through go-live and post-launch support.

The Name & The Philosophy

Bridgid carries meaning... on two levels.

Brigid + Bridge

In Celtic tradition, Brigid is the patron of craft, healing, and wisdom - associated with the sacred work of building and tending. That spirit informs how I approach this work: with care, precision, and a deep respect for the people the work ultimately serves.

Professionally, the name reflects the core function: building bridges - between data systems and the humans who use them, between clinical operations and the science they support, between what exists and what is possible.

Bridge · Identity · Data

Bridge
I connect clinical data systems to the research teams and populations they serve. Good data infrastructure is the connective tissue of reliable science.

Identity
Every organization has a research identity: its workflows, its culture, its goals. I don't impose generic solutions. I lead design and build of systems and strategies that complement.

Data
Data is the constant, it's the ever living why. Everything I do - from advising on EDC selection to team trainings - is geared toward protecting integrity, usability, and meaning of data.

IS YOUR TEAM PREPARED TO READY TO TAKE NEXT STEPS?

Reach out to talk.

If you're dealing with data or operations challenges, or if you just want to explore whether I can help, let's talk.

I work best with organizations that have a specific challenge and are ready to solve it properly - not patch it.
